The problem
Looking up a GST or Income-tax rule usually means wading through the bare act. A chatbot is the obvious interface — but a chatbot that invents a section number is worse than the bare act, because it sounds authoritative.
What it does
A web chat interface answering from a tight corpus — the GST Act plus five selected CBIC circulars in v1 — with a citation anchored to a specific section or circular on every answer, and a refusal pattern for anything off-topic.

Design choices
Scope discipline is the whole design. The temptation is to ingest everything; that is how this project would consume a month and still hallucinate. v1 stays deliberately small so every answer is verifiable, the disclaimer is pinned, and the framing is educational — what the law says, then consult a qualified professional.
